Welcome to Opiango Hills situated in the beautiful Central Hawkes Bay just 2.5kms from historic Porangahau Village.

 

Harriet, her sisters Kate and Tassie, brother Ted and niece Eileen are joined by whanau and locals in this venture started by their late father Turoa Topia Te Kuru.  Turoa was a horseman of great repute and was sought after for his skills in horse husbandry, training and getting the best from the animals he loved.  He started playing polo at the ripe old age of 50 and soon became well known throughout polo circles in New Zealand.

 

Sadly Turoa died in 2009.  His family are continuing his legacy.
